Our technology was adopted by a leading trade marketing agency, which administers merchandising teams and ensures accurate product recognition. In June 2024, we launched the project, integrating our AI-driven image recognition solution into the client’s system.

Key Challenge

The existing corporate system lacked the necessary functionality to efficiently manage merchandising. Manual data entry and management proved to be inefficient, leading to delays and inaccuracies. The client required a robust solution to streamline their operations, integrate various sales and service channels, and provide real-time reporting to support their merchandising teams across pharmacies and retail stores.

Solution

We provided the client with tools to manage visit types, filter data for different hierarchy levels, and export raw and aggregated reports to their data lake through a transactional database. Our role as a system integrator replaced the SFA system, offering enhanced online reporting and unifying various sales and customer service channels.

We equipped the client’s merchandising and pharmacy teams with our application and portal, enabling them to perform visits, capture images, and manage their tasks more effectively.

Our system provides real-time updates, with data aggregated every 30 minutes. The portal allows instant access to current information, significantly improving operational efficiency.

Our solution supports global brands with standardized packaging, allowing for seamless data utilization across international markets.

We combined various functional teams into a unified reporting pool for the client, enhancing the sales hierarchy and employee management.

Despite having just started, the implementation has yielded impressive results:

  • User Adoption: Currently, around 600 users are leveraging our solution, with plans to expand to 1,200 users.
  • Efficiency Gains: Our recognition technology delivers results in 60 seconds, drastically reducing the time spent on manual data entry.
  • Real-Time Updates: Reporting is updated every 30 minutes, ensuring stakeholders have access to the latest information.
  • High Volume Processing: In the current month, 20,000 visits and 200,000 photos were processed, with a total of 47,000 visits and 550,000 photos since the project began.
  • Wide Coverage: Our technology services 33,000 stores, with pharmacy pilot projects currently underway.

Eyrene’s cost-effective solution is based on visit counts rather than licenses or number of photos.
